Oh my! Is another summer about to evaporate just like that? No problem here comes my favorite season.

And on to our new issue of Healthy World Digest...

* It’s nothing Mr. Jones, just some dehydration

We have previously referenced the effects of dehydration symptoms on an American baseball player. Now a well-known Welsh singer and personal fave, Tom Jones, cancels a concert because of a “heart scare.” Tests showed he was just a little dehydrated.

That’s just the way dehydration works. Dehydration symptoms mimic serious medical ailments and we believe it might bring on some serious medical conditions.

Why take chances? Stay hydrated. Drink lots of healthy water.

* A little exercise goes a long way

Yep, that’s what a leading medical journal, The Lancet asserts.

Here's some happy exercise information. Their review of exercise studies suggested that just 15 minutes of exercise daily adds about 3 years to the average lifespan.

Just 15 minutes.

* Supplement for hair

Zinc helps produce keratin which is the protein you need to grow healthy hair. Purchase in supplement form or just get your zinc from good dark chocolate, oysters or liver. Yummy.

BTW, probably the best way to assure the best hair you can possibly have is to exercise or be physically active.

* Super healthy fats

Stop eating fake fats. They are not good for you.

The healthiest fats are the ones that have been around for millenia.

With some concessions to need for weight control, the best fats are, or are in, butter, whole eggs, coconut oil, avocados, raw nuts, olive oil, walnut oil.

Real foods. Real fats.

3 terrific Chinese herbs

More than any other culture, the Chinese have the strongest claim to master herbalists. Their use of herbs is longstanding, marked by deep insight and flexibility.

Here are 3 Chinese herbs that tackle separate issues.

Schizandra Berry aids memory, focus and gives you an energy boost.

Magnolia bark tea or iots extract, helps with flatulence and bloating.

Finally, jujube seeds make a great night cap tea because it aids sleep.

Terrific weight loss supplements

Magnesium and calcium, often recommended for other health concerns, are also important to weight loss.

A good way to get these are to eat leafy green veggies.

* Dollar store health deals

Those ever-present Dollar Stores are great for certain things like insoles, strainers, some electricals and PC equipment.

But may not be so great for vitamins, supplements and herbs. Some have featured misleading labeling. Others may be past freshness.

This goes for canned goods too. So do buy if the deal is good but remember to check labels.

Well, until October, health and vitality to you and loved ones.
