Hi Eric,

I'm not sure of the specific kidney disease you refer to.

If it's kidney stones, then absolutely increasing water intake can cause dramatic improvement.
But all of the vital organs depend on water. Certainly, the kidneys depend on good healthy water.

So for generally good kidney make sure to take in lots of filtered water.
